    In a speech at Policy Exchange, the minister for universities and science David Willetts announced how £600 million dedicated to science in the Autumn Statement was to be spent. The initiatives as set out by the chancellor in November will cover data analysis, space, robotics, autonomous systems, synthetic biology, regenerative medicine, agri-science, advanced materials and energy.
